Congratulations to all students for reaching our gold coin target of 240 coins for recognizing positive behaviours in the classroom and on the yard. We will celebrate this on Friday 31 August 2026 by having a casual clothes day, watch a movie in units and have some hot chips while we watch!

This week we had a visit from Bridie, a coach from the team at Classroom Mastery.
Our teachers and students had a 'Drop In' to observe some of our routines that we have implemented over the past 18 months.
Our two focus routines were: Use of mini whiteboards and use of voice. Both of these routines ensure that learning time is calm, orderly and consistent. The feedback given was very positive and affirming. The visit provided an opportunity to reflect on the progress of classroom routines, discuss current behaviour priorities, and consider how coaching can continue to support staff through practical resources, adjustments, and ongoing feedback.
There is strong evidence that routines are becoming increasingly embedded across classrooms. Teachers are using shared language with growing confidence, students understand expectations, and staff are demonstrating strong professional judgement when adapting resources and routines to meet individual needs.

At all times, the ongoing safety and well-being of all children and young people will be the primary focus of care and decision-making, with particular attention paid to the most vulnerable children, including Aboriginal children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, children with a disability, children who are unable to live at home, international students, and students of diverse sexuality.

To create and maintain a safe environment and nurturing culture, CES Ltd and St Joseph's Primary School will actively and continually develop and review all policies, processes and practices, informed and responsive to legislation and evidence.
