Message from Liz
💙 Where strength meets kindness, learning thrives.
The 2026 school year has begun with a wonderful sense of energy and enthusiasm across our school. Staff made excellent use of the three preparation days, building on the professional learning from 2025 to ensure strong, consistent practices continued into this year with purpose and confidence.
The calm classrooms and predictable routines introduced last year have supported a settled and positive start for all students. From the very first days, children knew what to expect and how their day would unfold, helping them feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
During the first week of school, teachers have also placed a strong focus on building and strengthening relationships with students. These connections are at the heart of everything we do. We know that strong relationships underpin effective learning, positive behaviour, and student wellbeing. When students feel supported and engaged, they are more likely to thrive.
From a child’s perspective, the message is just as clear: when students feel safe, known, and genuinely cared for, they learn better, try harder, and enjoy coming to school. This strong start to 2026 reflects our shared commitment to relationships, consistency, and creating environments where every child can flourish.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to preparing our grounds and learning spaces for the start of the year. Your time, care, and effort ensured a welcoming environment for children as they returned to school.
