Instrumental Music Program at Seymour College
If your child would like to learn a musical instrument and perform music with other students, please contact the school and let me know what your child would like to learn.
We offer brass, woodwind, keyboard, guitar and drums and the lessons are weekly for half an hour. The timetable is scheduled so that students will not miss the same classroom subjects each week.
My best contact is by email at Roger.Manderson@education.vic.gov.au or a telephone message via the General Office on 57711300.
Roger Manderson,
Music Co-ordinator.

Secondary Assessment & Reporting Update
Welcome to Semester 1. This year at Seymour College we are continuing our approach of continuous reporting, which allows us to give you timely feedback and have a clear understanding of your child's progress as the learning occurs.
Teachers will complete ‘Learning Tasks’ throughout the Semester and they will send you a push notification through compass or an email to let you know when Learning Task results are up and ready to look at. Make sure you look out for these and if you are having any trouble logging into Compass, please contact the front office and they can assist you.
NAPLAN also occurs in Term 1 for our Year 7s & 9s in Week 7& 8 (Starting the 11th of March). If you have any questions or concerns about NAPLAN please contact your child's coordinator.
We appreciate your support in engaging with Compass and encourage you to contact the school if you have any questions throughout the year.
Thanks,
Janita Trickey,
Secondary Leading Teacher of Curriculum, Assessment & Reporting.
