School Wide Positive Behaviour Support
The Victorian High Ability Program
The Victorian High Ability program enables high-ability students in Years 5-8, to be challenged and extended in a 10 week online program through Virtual Schools Victoria. Congratulations to the following students who participated in VHAP Mathematics and English in 2025:

Lake Nagambie LSV Lifesaving Educational Program
On Friday 6th February students in Years 5/6 travelled to Lake Nagambie for a two hour educational program around waterways and lifesaving skills. This program was provided by Lifesaving Victoria. The students had a fantastic time learning about all safety aspects in and around water ways and what do in an emergency if it happens.
F-2 Report
What a wonderful start to the year for our F-2 area! We have been busy getting to know each other and creating a sense of belonging. Each of our classrooms is creating positive, respectful relationships and developing a calm environment, perfect for learning.
Our Foundation students had a fantastic time meeting some of our year 6 leaders who will participate in our buddy program throughout the year. They worked together to create some amazing crowns to celebrate their bravery for starting their school journey.
We were lucky enough to have Rose from Seymour Police visit our school and share her knowledge with us. Students had thoughtful questions to learn more about the role of police in our community. We also had the opportunity to sit in her police car and check out all the cool gadgets.
We have begun our daily show-and-tell in our F/1 classes. It’s been very exciting to see what each student brings in to share with the class. Students are learning to listen attentively and think of an interesting question to ask.
Each week, our F-2 classes spend a session in the library. Our wonderful librarians, Isobel and Matt, devote their time to teaching our students about all facets of library life. The students absolutely love hearing Matt read each week.
