Scholastic Book Club
Issue #1 of Scholastic Book Club was sent home with your child yesterday. The last date for ordering for Issue #1 is Friday 13th Feb.
For those new to Book Club-
Two issues will be sent home each term, except for Term 3 when we have the Scholastic Book Fair at school during Book Week.
All orders are completed online using the LOOP ordering system. Please see the Scholastic flow chart for details of creating new accounts.
No orders/no cash are accepted at school.
If you wish to order something as a gift, please let us know and it can be kept at the office for you to collect.
Orders are normally sent home with students via the class tubs.
All orders go towards award credits to our school account. These credits are used to buy new books for our school library. Last year, over $3000 was credited to our school account and used to buy great new books.
The orders normally arrive at school approx. 1-2 weeks after the order is closed by the school on the 'last date of ordering'.
School Library borrowing notes
Your child will normally visit the library, with their class, every week to return and borrow their books.
l ask that your child keeps their books in a library or reader bag to protect the books as much as possible. Last year there were a substantial number of books that were returned with signs of either water damage or just rough wear and tear.
