Assistant Principal Wellbeing and Inclusion
Mr Tim Brown
Welcome back to everyone for 2026. I am delighted and excited to continue working within the Meadows Primary School Community! I enjoyed getting to know many of the families in Term 4 last year and can't wait to keep working with students, staff and families for an even better year than last. Please contact me to make a time to meet if you require any support or need to chat.
Meet the Teacher - Coming up soon!
We are excited to announce that Meet the Teacher interviews are coming up soon, and we look forward to meeting with families to talk about your child and how they can be successful this year. This first meeting is all about getting to know students and their families, focusing on how the student learns and how we can support them. This is also a great time for parents and caregivers to ask questions, share insights about their child, and get the know their child's teacher.
Interview times will take place on Wednesday 11th February, Tuesday 17th February and Wednesday 18th February from 3.30pm-4.30pm. Bookings will be opened soon through our Compass App. If you have any difficulty scheduling a time or require an alternative arrangement, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.
We encourage all families to participate and appreciate the time you take to connect with us. We look forward to productive and positive conversations!
Harmony Day Celebrations
This year Harmony day is on the 21st March. In the week prior to this (week 9) our school community will come together to celebrate this special occasion that promotes inclusiveness, respect, and a sense of belonging for everyone. Harmony Day is an important opportunity to recognise and celebrate the cultural diversity that makes our school such a welcoming and vibrant place.
This year we want to involve not just students taking part in a range of learning activities focused on understanding, kindness, and appreciation of different cultures and backgrounds, but also come together as a whole school community. More exciting details to come.
