Science Talent Search

The Science Talent Search (STS) is an annual, school-based science competition open to all primary and secondary students in Victoria. The theme for 2024 is Species Survival: More than just sustainability.

The Science Talent Search project is an extra curricular activity. The project is completed outside school hours, and there is a participation cost. The project must be delivered to school not later than Friday 12 July. 

On Wednesday 6 March there was a Science Talent Search meeting for students interested in participating this year. Students heard about past projects, received an expression of interest form to be returned by next Thursday, 14 March, and a project sheet to explain their chosen project. Any students who were absent or on Year 6 Camp can see Mr Liao or Ms O’Flynn for the forms they need. There will be another meeting for interested students next Wednesday, 13 March.

EHPS can submit 30 projects to this year's STS. If more expressions of interest are received, a selection process will occur.
