Grade Prep Report

This week, the Preps have learnt all about what it means to be a bucket filler! 

Their teachers read them a book that explains that every person you know is walking around with an invisible bucket. They learnt that when you treat someone with kindness and respect, you can fill their bucket and make them feel happy! 

The Prep classes discussed different things you can do to fill a bucket, such as sharing with friends, inviting others to play and showing Preston Primary School values. They also discussed actions that might “dip” from someone’s bucket, like not listening to others when they speak or using unkind words. 

The Preps then decorated their very own buckets that they will be able to add stickers to when their teacher notices them being a bucket filler.
