Our Grade 6 students loved embracing teamwork and challenges in our annual 'Unleashing Personal Potential Aspire Higher' leadership workshop. The students worked together to overcome a variety of problems faced in the creative activities. Well done to our Grade 6 Leaders!
A HUGE thanks to our amazing parent helpers whose support makes this aquatic adventure possible, and to our enthusiastic kids for diving in, learning valuable water safety skills, and refining their swimming techniques.
We are so proud of our students for giving it their all at the District swimming!
Congratulations Jess G (backstroke), Sophia K (butterfly) and Dolores M (butterfly) who will represent OLA at Division Swimming on Tuesday 12 March at Oakleigh.
One of the many exciting activities we’ve been working on in Grade 2 has been reflecting on our holiday adventures. We’ve been recounting, drawing, and writing about our fun and favourite summer memories!
In Grade 1, digital technology is integrated into our lessons to complement our learning. Students love using programs like Reading Eggs and Math Seeds, unlocking a whole new realm of learning possibilities!
Our Sustainability Leaders represented OLA proudly at their Workshop on Tuesday. They were engaged and enthusiastic about the activities. They are very keen to prepare an interactive lesson to run with the Grade 1 and Grade 2 classes.
Our Grade 2 students have been busy writing sizzling starters to entice the reader into reading their story! I can't wait for them to finish their stories so I can find out what happened to Mae!
