Year 1 Steiner

Celebrating Learning

We have been having so much in our maths main lesson the last few weeks! We have been doing loads of number puzzles and discovering many number patterns!

It has been great to see so many ‘ah ha’ moments as the kids persevered in various number tasks.

They loved skip counting and jumping on the lily pad number path, it was a whole class effort to get them in correct order (1 - 100) and then they all got to enjoy counting and seeing different patterns.

We also enjoyed all the raining jewels in the fairy Queendom, which we now have to count!

There has also been plenty of time for skipping (they are getting really good now), singing, tongue twisters, poems, painting, clay and of course play!

Looking forward to more fun learning next term!
