JSC Leadership and Voice

Our grade 3, 4 and 5 Junior School Council members who have been nominated by peers in a democratic election process, would like to introduce themselves to our community.

My name is Alexander and I am in 3A.  I am looking forward to being a part of the JSC this year because I like coming up with ideas to help students at our school.  I also enjoy going to the meetings for JSC each week.

Hi, my name is Dante and I am from 3B.  I am super excited to be in this role.  I believe that I will be a good leader and participate in everything possible to support our school.  I am really thankful and happy that I became a JSC!

Hello, my name is Oreva and I am in 4A.  I am one of your Junior School Council representatives.  I want to work with the JSC to create exciting events at Mackellar.  I would like to hear ideas from other students and share them with the rest of the school.

Hi my name is Levi and I am in 4B.  I am so excited to be one of your Junior School Council leaders for 2024!  I want to help make this school an even better place!  Here are some facts about me... I like collecting Pokémon cards, playing downball and I love soccer.  Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the Junior School Council.

Hi, my name is Nancy and I'm in grade 5A.  I am very excited to be a 2024 JSC representative.  I was inspired to become a Junior School Council member because I always wanted to help the student leadership team.  I will also make sure that every student's voice is heard.  Apart from school, my personal interests are dancing, singing, cooking and art.

Hello everyone!  My name is Star and I am in 5B.  I am thrilled to be a 2024 JSC member at our lovely school, Mackellar!  I have always wanted to be on the JSC because I want to help others and create events that are fun for everyone here.  I absolutely love to play board games such as Monopoly or card games such as UNO.  My favourite sports are swimming and gymnastics.

Here is our Lunchtime Clubs timetable that students at Mackellar voted for when JSC facilitated the recent surveys:
