Hi Families,
In order to create strong learning connections between school and home, we have began using Seesaw. Seesaw is a program/app that the students will be using to show you their learning and achievements. Student will be learning to use the program in their ICT sessions and will be able to take photos, recordings and text of their work and progress to share with you to view. Families are able to view their students work at any time by downloading the app to any device and clicking on the link for your child’s class, where you can select your child’s name. Please see links below.
Students are very excited to be able to share with you their learning and we are looking forward to showcasing all the amazing things that students from NPS are doing in their classrooms on a daily basis!
Please note, that this is a student use app- so if you need to contact your child’s teacher, please communicate via the usual channels.

This week the 2/3/4s had a go at coding our Bluebots to move through an obstacle course made out of a variety of things from around the room. We discussed how robots need algorithms and instructions to be able to move. We also incorporated our maths knowledge into creating our courses as we knew that each Bluebot moves 15cm at a time and turns 90 degrees.
Foundation/1 had the cutest and cuddliest writing prompts for National Love Your Pet Day! We were able to us these adorable subjects for our goal of presenting to an audience, and for our writing topic using some WOW words like fuzzy, cuddly and cheeky
