Level 4 at Work
Throughout the term, Level 4 students have been developing their digital technology skills. They have learnt how to navigate Google Classroom and create and submit tasks using a range of Google Apps. Students have also participated in Code Camp incursion sessions, where they learnt how to create, code and play their own digital game.
This term, Level 4 students have been sharing insights about themselves, that include their identity, strengths, learning goals, interests and future aspirations. Students used this information to create and publish a bio poem all about themselves. During this process, students have developed their IT skills by using Googles Slides to create their Bio Poem presentations. They experimented with slide layouts, text fonts and size, backgrounds and even inserted images to compliment their poems. Students also learnt about the importance of appropriate slide presentation to ensure best visibility for an audience.
