Principals Weekly Update

Congratulations to Zaim Zeneli on His New Appointment!
We are excited to announce that Zaim Zeneli has been appointed as the new Assistant Principal at Malvern Valley Primary School in Malvern East. His appointment will begin at the start of Term 2 on 22 April. Zaim will return for a brief handover with the new Health and PE teacher, a position currently being advertised.
Zaim joined us at the age of 22, fresh from university and eager to start his teaching career. From the beginning, his passion for helping young people thrive and his commitment to evidence-based practices were clear. Over the years, Zaim has progressed from graduate teacher to learning leader, then specialist, and now Assistant Principal - a testament to his dedication and growth in education.
Zaim's last day with us will be Friday, 4 April, at the end of Term 1. We invite our community to join us for a farewell at our End of Term Assembly on Wednesday, 3 April, at 2:30pm.

Family Conferences – Strengthening the Learning Partnership
Research shows that families have a profound impact on their children’s learning and development. Parents and carers play a vital role in supporting their child’s success at school, helping them grow into confident and articulate learners. Strong connections between families and schools are key to achieving positive outcomes for students.
We’d like to extend our gratitude to our dedicated teachers for their time and effort in preparing and delivering our recent Family Conferences. These sessions are invaluable in strengthening the partnership between teachers, students, and families.
Looking ahead, our next Family Conferences will take place in late Term 3, with sessions scheduled over several afternoons. To make these as effective as possible, we’d love your feedback. Please take a few minutes to complete a short survey via the link below:
Your input is greatly appreciated!
