School Captain's Report 

Dear families and caregivers.

What a wonderful start to term 2! Here are some updates of what has happened and what is coming up in the following weeks. 

The preps have enjoyed specialist classes. In Art they have been painting, in Sport they have been throwing and catching tennis balls. In maths they are ordering numbers, in writing they have been writing fantasy topics. 

The juniors have enjoyed writing about their own topic, in reading their learning about animals. And in Maths they are subtracting and ordering numbers. 

The Middles are enjoying Art. They are making sculptures, in sport they have been practicing high jump. In math they are doing APSMO, in writing they have been writing cards about themselves and in reading they are doing literacy circles. 

The senior’s have been summarising and analysing the book the giver, in maths we have been doing multiplication and division, and in writing we have been writing an explanation text about immigration and migration. 

For specialists, in Indonesian we have been learning about food, for music we have been creating a beat, in art we have been making our own colour wheel and in sport we have been practicing for Athletics.
