On Monday during our whole school assembly, the following students were acknowledged and their learning described so we all know why they are worthy recipients of our awards and applause.

1O | Ethan | For being a collaborative and supportive member of 1O. You show great initiative by always looking for ways to help around the classroom, and your contributions have not gone unnoticed. 2A | Miesha | For being a collaborative learner in 2A. You have been helpful towards me and your peers. You sat with a peer and worked together to complete your reading group activity and I observed you being an amazing teacher, explaining what to do and how to do it with kindness and warmth. Well done Miesha, you are a super star! |
3/4LM | Ashi | For being a motivated student in all learning areas! Ashi is an exemplary leader who consistently does her best and a little bit more. You drive your own learning, always striving to improve your outcomes. An example of this is your motivation in working towards your time goal in Maths. Keep up the super effort Ashi! |
3/4K | Saatvik | For being a motivated student in Writing this week. You worked collaboratively during writing workshops to create interesting sentences and then applied this knowledge, along with your plan, to start your narrative independently. It was great to see you take ownership of your learning while also encouraging your friends to do the same. Keep it up, Saatvik! |

You worked so well with your partner to edit your narrative using the editing checklist, making sure your writing was the best it could be. You also stay focussed at your desk, working hard with your partner and ignoring distractions around you. Your determination and effort are helping you become a superstar writer.
