Emmanuel College

Dear Families,

It was wonderful to welcome over 800 visitors to our Notre Dame Campus Open Evening last week. Families had the opportunity to hear from Principal Dr Janine Biggin, meet staff, explore our diverse curriculum, and engage in exciting activities across learning areas.

If you missed out, you can still experience our vibrant community firsthand by attending an upcoming College tour. Our student ambassadors will guide you through the campus and answer any questions you may have. Register for a tour here: College Tours

Wednesday Lunchtime Careers Presentations – Kicking Off with Deakin University

We are thrilled to have launched our Wednesday Lunchtime Careers Presentations in the brand-new Careers Centre at Notre Dame Campus. Our first session with Alex from Deakin University was a huge success.

Alex gave an insightful talk about Deakin’s Nursing and Midwifery program, highlighting exciting opportunities such as double degrees in Nursing/Psychological Sciences and Nursing/Public Health Promotion through Deakin’s network of affiliated hospitals. We’re looking forward to the next session and can’t wait to share more career insights with you soon.

A Celebration of Culture and Connection

Languages Week at Emmanuel College was a vibrant and exciting celebration of culture, diversity, and the joy of language learning. Students across the school embraced the opportunity to immerse themselves in a variety of cultural experiences, making the week both memorable and enriching.

Year 7 students enjoyed a dynamic Project Day packed with engaging activities. They were captivated by a powerful Taiko drumming performance, raised their voices in Italian song, tested their skills in a judo training session, and laughed along with a lively Commedia dell’Arte clowning show.

The cultural excitement spilled over into lunchtime, with gelati and churros trucks drawing eager crowds and adding a delicious touch to the festivities. The week was filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a true passion for languages. It was a fantastic celebration of global cultures and the joy of learning, leaving lasting memories for everyone involved.

We’re excited to invite you to visit the College and experience our vibrant community firsthand. Join one of our upcoming College events for a student-led campus tour and the opportunity to meet our Principal.
