Principal's Report

A Message from Julie..

Please note that over recent weeks we have had an increased number of students who have not been collected at the 3pm school finishing time. Any student who still has not been picked up after 3:10pm will be enrolled into our after care program at the cost to the families. If you are running late due to unforeseen circumstances please call the office to inform the school and your child may wait at the office until you arrive.

We are also currently trialing the students entering directly into their villages each morning, we encourage and invite families to also come in out of the cold winter weather. Villages will be open from 8:30am. After the trial concludes it will be reviewed by the executive leadership team to determine the impact and possible benefits on the students, staff and families.

In other exciting news the school will be getting some noticeable refurbishments over the holiday break. The front facade will be updated, the main office administration building will be painted, recarpeted and new office furniture and blinds installed. We are also in communication with a supplier to install large glass and doors panels in each village to create a more flexible learning environment. One which can change according to the learning and teaching requirement. The panels aim to reduce noise transfer from within the village however still retain the openness and ability to work within and across the village as a whole. This will be stage one in the process with stage two being rolled out early 2025. This holiday Green and Blue Village will get stage one of this project.
