Middle Years

Welcome to Term Three everyone. 

We are very excited about the term ahead, especially with the organisation taking place for the whole of Middle Years getting ready to go on an excursion to We Rock The Spectrum later on in the term. 

We had a very busy 'learning' Term Two with students working hard on their goals, class and individual testing taking place, and the chance for teachers to write wonderful reports with lots of progress made throughout the semester. 

We participated in Reconciliation Day with songs and activities, Education Week was a real highlight. This year's theme was 'Spotlight on STEM', highlighting the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in our classrooms and everyday lives. Our lessons involved investigation and experimentation using ice and adding different elements to ice to see what happens. Lots of Fun!

Another highlight of Term Two was Whole School Sports Day. There were 8 different stations that we were able to take turns and enjoy within a small group and then move onto the next station after 10 minutes. Students enjoyed bean bag tossing, soccer, an obstacle course, poison ball, throw the 'chicken', ball skills and more.

We are very excited about this term with 'Living Things' being the topic for Science and an an excursion to We Rock The Spectrum later on in the term.
