Congratulations to...

Ruby Conti (12 Millward)

Ruby recently represented Australia at the Senior Aerobics Asian Championships in Vietnam, where she had a very successful competition. She won the AD group section and advanced to the finals for both her trio and group routines. Despite having an injured hand and having to modify the routine, Ruby's team won the group section and secured 7th place in the trio, which is an impressive result.

Congratulations, Ruby!

Henry Allan (10 Jones)

Due to Henry’s amazing achievement at the Age Nationals in April 2024 he obtained qualifying times to compete in the Australian Trials. The Australian Trials rank as the most prestigious domestic swimming event in the national calendar and the 2024 Trials will serve as the sole selection meet for the Dolphins Swimming Team to compete in Paris.

On Tuesday 11 June Henry swam in the 100m Backstroke, prior to the race he was seeded 35th but he added time to achieve 52nd. He swam the event in 58.78 sec. On Friday Henry swam the 200m backstroke heat against world champion holder Mitch Larkin (2015).  In that race was also 2024 Paris Olympic prospects Bradley Woodward and Se-Bom Lee. Henry was seeded 29th prior to the race, but swam a time of 2:07.81 to finish 36th overall.

Well done, Henry!

Finn Cullen (7 Jenkin)

Finn recently trialled for the Victorian Under 12 Cricket team, starting out among 120 boys from all over Victoria. Earlier this month, he trained at Junction Oval, showcasing his skills in batting, bowling, and fielding alongside the top talents in the state. Clearly, he impressed the selectors, as he was announced last week as one of the final 50 boys, which is a fantastic achievement.

Congratulations, Finn!

Azia Fong-Sutton ( 8 Aherne)

Congratulations, Azia, on being selected to represent Victoria at the School Sports Swimming Competition at the Gold Coast in July.

There are about 8 swimmers in the girls 14-year age group and to be selected for Team Vic you have to meet certain qualifying times. These times are different for each age group and event. In each event, the two fastest swimmers in Victoria get selected to compete each event for Team Vic. To achieve times, swimmers compete in various competitions such as Nationals, States, Countries and local meets.

To maintain her fitness, Azia has been training hard and spending many hours in the pool and will continue to do so as the event draws closer.

What an amazing effort, Azia! We look forward to hearing all about your experience at the competition.

Stella McIntosh (6 Jenkin)

Congratulations to Stella for being selected to represent Victoria at the School Sports Swimming Competition on the Gold Coast in July!

Stella will compete for Team Vic in the 50m butterfly, 100m butterfly, and the medley relay.

Best of luck in the competition, Stella—we can't wait to hear about your experiences!

Lilou Reynaud (10 Riley)

Congratulations to Lilou, our French exchange student, on recently competing in the inter-school championships at Werribee.

Her host exchange family supplied Lilou with her horse, Yoshi Dynamite and Lilou rode him beautifully.
