Term 2 Sport Summary:

Thanks to all students and staff for a fantastic and jam-packed term of Sport! We have had some fantastic results over the term with several teams successful. They will compete in Term 3 at the Eastern Metropolitan Region Championships:

  • Year 7 Boys Soccer – Friday 2nd August
  • Year 8 Girls Netball – Wednesday 7th August 
  • Senior Mixed Hockey – Friday 9th August 
  • Senior Girls Netball – Friday 9th August

 

EMR Cross-Country: 

 

33 students ventured out with Mr Szabo and Ms Burke to Yarra Glen Racecourse for the Eastern Metropolitan Region Championships.

 

Tara McAuley (Year 8) came 3rd at the Region Cross Country and Akilan Suresh (Year 7) came 10th. 

 

Both students will advance to the State Cross Country Championships on Thursday 18th July. We look forward to both students demonstrating the same level of grit and determination.

Term 3 Intermediate Sport is in Week 2, Monday 22nd July. Sports included on the day will be Basketball, Hockey and Table Tennis. Keep an eye out Compass events if you have signed up for these events.
