Grade 5 & 6

Term 2   Week 8

MELBOURNE CAMP

On Tuesday the 21st of May, the grade 6 Students had a long trip to Melbourne for their last primary school camp. They started their first day by going to the Melbourne Museum. Everyone enjoyed seeing all of the interesting artefacts.

After having a fun time at the museum, the year 6’s ventured their way to the Melbourne GoClimb.  After a tiring hour they hopped on the bus for their first night at Urban camp.

Thanks to the Urban camp staff, they could enjoy a hot breakfast.

They started their morning at bounce, and continued their day by discovering, and learning new information at the ACMI and Australian sports Museum.

They got on the bus once again to go look at the fascinating Southbank walk lights and enjoyed an ice-cream.

They started their day off at the Victorian Parliament House, and they continued their day by going to the Melbourne Aquarium and the old Melbourne Gaol with many scary stories.

They had a cold night at the O’Briens Ice Skating, with many falls and smiles.

For the last day in Melbourne, they spent some of their leftover money at the Queen Victoria Markets.

With a sleepy bus trip home they were all happy to their families again.

Thank you to all the staff that made this camp possible!
