Year 7 Update

The Year 7 cohort have had an adventurous term two, starting with their camp to the Murray River, in Echuca. They scored three action packed days with a variety of activities such as ziplining, rock climbing and the giant swing, as well as some more relaxed water activities like fishing, swimming and kayaking. It was a great way to start the term and loads of fun was had by all!

Year 7 girls netball was a fantastic day with a great team of both experienced and beginner netballers. The team showed fantastic sportsmanship throughout the four games, rotating positions and turns on the bench! They netted a win at the conclusion of the competition, but held their spirits and expectations high throughout the day. Well done girls, we’ll keep training and come back stronger next year.

This term we were lucky enough to have had two health in-school, events promoting Health and Wellbeing and keeping our growing bodies and minds healthy, and an Oral Health session where we learnt how to support the good bacteria in our mouths to keep our pearly whites strong! We look forward to more sessions throughout the year, as we learn how our bodies grow and change.

It's safe to say the Year 7’s have well and truly settled into high school and have made some good friendships along the way. Most are looking forward to a restful and well-deserved holiday break! See you next term, Miss. Moises.
