Eating time Changes

In Term 3 we will be trialling a change in our eating times here at Ballan.

With students eating their main meal at 11:45 (lunch) and their snack time will now be at 2:05.

Our daily structure has changed slightly.

8.45-9.00am	School open – gates unlocked
9.00-10.00am	Session 1
10.00-11.00am	Session 2 and Healthy Snack
11.00-11.30am	1st Play Time
11.30-11.45am	Lunch eating time
11.45am-12.40pm	Session 3
12.40-1.35pm	Session 4
1.35-2.05pm	2nd Play Time
2.05-2.15pm	Eating time – snacks
2.15-3.15pm	Session 5
3.15pm	Dismissal

Parent Teacher Interviews - July 26

As we look ahead to Term 3, parent-teacher interviews will be held on Friday July 26. parent-teacher interviews are an opportunity for students to showcase their learning from Terms 1 and 2 with the support of their teacher. On this day attendance is only required for your child’s interview.

Booking times for the parent-teacher interviews will be available early next term. We are looking forward to seeing our parent community on the day.

Curriculum Day - September 2

Also, a reminder that our Term 3 curriculum day is scheduled for Monday, September 2, and is a student-free day.

Take the time over the break to connect, build memories, and keep warm. For those traveling take care and stay safe on your adventures.

Celebrating 150 years

This year Ballan Primary School will be celebrating its 150th year. In November this will see us hosting a community event that will merge with our Fete. The Parents and Friends Group is seeking anyone who would be interested in being a part of the organisation of this event. Or to help out or volunteer their time in any way, as Teamwork makes the Dream Work! You can reach out to me or the school, if you feel like you could contribute, or if you have a fantastic idea for something we could add to the celebrations.
