Hello everyone!
Welcome to Term 3. Last week we welcomed a new staff member, Room 16 Classroom Teacher Paris, to the Middle Sub School.
We have had a great start to the term. Middle students have settled into their routines at school. It has been wonderful to see students working hard across their different subjects. I have noticed lots of enthuasim for literacy and mathematics. This week, students also enjoyed the Musica Viva incursion and showed lots of excitement whilst watching the show about visiting outer space.
SSG’s
SSG’s run this week (week 2) to week 4. Please ensure to make an appointment with your classroom team. You can do this via the student diary, email or SeeSaw. We are very proud of the achievements of your child and would love to share this with you.
Student absences
We are continuing to support students with their hygiene this winter. This includes covering nose and mouth when coughing and washing hands regularly. Please notify the absence phone if your child needs to stay at home due to being unwell. Thank you for your support as we work together to stay safe and healthy this winter.
We wish you an excellent Term 3!
Room 10 have had an eventful start to term three. We have slowly settled back into routine through regular movement breaks, sensory play, visiting the climbing gym and creating exciting artwork for NAIDOC week. Students have enjoyed participating in hands-on activities during literacy, numeracy, personal and social, and science. A highlight of this term has been creating a ‘walking rainbow’ experiment in science, with Karla, which students loved. We look forward to creating more memories as the term progresses.
