It has finally happened! All rooms in the Yaluk building have been finished.
The last classroom had their special lighting installed over the holidays and the students and staff moved in last week. Well done to the staff and students from Room 25 who made the transition.
Room 25 has been set up with teaching booths so that each student has their own personal space, yet are part of the larger classroom. The focus is on inclusion by bringing all students together in one space where personal and social skills can be taught alongside their peers.

HEATING FOOD AT SCHOOL
From an Occupational, Health and Safety perspective, students' lunches should not be heated at school. This ensures the safety of all students by reducing the risk of burns and accidents.
If your child needs warm food at lunchtime, we recommend using insulated containers or vacuum flasks to keep the food warm until it is time to eat.
