Year 6 Camp on Kangaroo Island
Our Year 6 Camp to Kangaroo Island was an absolute highlight, packed with adventure, fun, and plenty of unforgettable moments.
Students had an amazing time exploring some of the island’s most iconic spots. A visit to Admirals Arch gave everyone the chance to take in the incredible coastal views (and spot some cheeky seals along the way!), while Seal Bay was a real standout, with students getting up close to sea lions in their natural environment.
The trip to Remarkable Rocks certainly lived up to its name, with students climbing, exploring and taking in the unique shapes formed over thousands of years. One of the biggest hits of the camp was sandboarding at Little Sahara - lots of laughs, a bit of sand everywhere, and plenty of excitement as students raced down the dunes.
We also learned about Kangaroo Island’s famous bees and honey, discovering just how important these tiny creatures are and what makes the island’s bees so special.
We were very lucky to have beautiful weather for the entire trip, which meant we could enjoy every activity to the fullest.
All in all, it was a fantastic camp filled with great experiences, lots of fun, and memories that will last a long time. We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year!

Foundation - Year 4 Gymnastic Incursion
In Week 4, the Foundation to Year 4 students learnt about gymnastics in PE lessons with Mrs Collins. They learnt about balancing, gravity, pull and push whilst having a blast on all the "cool" gymnastic equipment.
Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 SACSA Soccer Carnival Results
Last week, students from our Brooklyn Park and South Plympton campuses proudly represented the College at the Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 SACSA Soccer Tournaments. Despite challenging weather conditions at the Year 3/4 carnival, with rain, sleet and muddy fields throughout the day, students displayed remarkable resilience, enthusiasm and determination, keeping spirits high and supporting one another throughout the competition.
The tournaments provided valuable opportunities for students to develop teamwork, perseverance and sportsmanship, while competing with excellence and integrity.
Notable achievements included:
- Year 3/4 Boys - 3rd
- Year 3/4 Girls - 5th
- Year 5/6 Boys - 4th
- Year 5/6 Girls - 9th
A special thank you goes to our Year 11 & 12 students Petrus, Amy, and Ehinomhen for their leadership, encouragement and commitment to supporting our teams. It was also exciting to see our Year 10 PE students apply their soccer officiating skills in a real-world setting as part of their curriculum.
Well done to all students who participated and represented our College so well.
