Second-Hand Uniform Shop

On Friday 9 October, we proudly held our very first Second-Hand Uniform Shop at Good Shepherd, offering families the opportunity to purchase quality second-hand uniforms across two sessions, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am and 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

We were absolutely blown away by the incredible support from our families! The response exceeded our expectations, with 90% of our available stock sold and an amazing $1,716 raised. It was wonderful to see so many families getting involved and supporting this new initiative within our school community.

A huge thank you to all the families who generously donated pre-loved uniforms and to everyone who came along to purchase items and support the shop. We would also like to extend a special thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers: Heather, Nilu, Jackie, Yvonne, Kapil, Helen, Yugani, Bo Hee, Anira, Nita, Aleks and Eveline. We are so grateful for the time, energy and enthusiasm you contributed to help make our first Second-Hand Uniform Shop such a success.

This initiative provides a practical and affordable way for families to access school uniforms while also promoting sustainability by giving pre-loved items a second life. Importantly, all proceeds raised go directly back to our school, allowing us to continue supporting our students and wider school community.

We would love to continue building on this success and welcome further uniform donations throughout the remainder of the term. If you have any pre-loved Good Shepherd uniforms at home that are still in good, wearable condition, we would be very grateful for your contribution. Donations can continue to be dropped off at the front office at any time during the school day. Every donation helps us replenish our stock and ensure we have a good range of items available for families at our next shop.

Our next Second-Hand Uniform Shop will take place on Tuesday 15 December, the last day of the school year. We look forward to welcoming families again and providing another opportunity to purchase affordable second-hand uniforms before the new school year begins.
