The CERES Student Leadership Summit  

The experience of going to CERES  was interesting and amazing. It taught us valuable skills to grow into environmental leaders. 

We started off by talking to members of other schools about our ideas for the future, then recording them on paper. Next, we learned what the skills of an environmental leader actually are. We did four rotations, one for each star in the ResourceSmart school system; biodiversity, energy, waste and water. 

Finally, we wrote down ideas to improve our school and presented them to the everyone attending the excursion.
