IDAHOBIT Day Celebrations

Our IDAHOBIT Day celebrations were a wonderful success this year! The Inclusion Action Team organised a whole-school "Eat Together" event, and we were lucky enough to have the sunshine join us for the occasion. Students gathered to learn about discrimination, inclusion, and what it means to stand up for the rights of others. These important conversations encouraged everyone to reflect on how we can create a safe, respectful, and welcoming community for all.

The Inclusion Action Team then led a fun and energetic lap around the oval, with students and staff dancing their way around together. The celebrations continued throughout lunchtime with music, bubbles, dancing, and plenty of smiles.

It was fantastic to see our school community come together to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Thank you to our Inclusion Action Team for their leadership and enthusiasm in making the day such a memorable event for everyone!

Every Day Counts

Regular school attendance is one of the most important factors in a child's learning and wellbeing. Every day at school provides opportunities for students to learn new skills, build friendships, develop confidence, and strengthen their sense of belonging within our school community. Even missing one day of school each fortnight can add up to around four weeks of learning across a year!

We understand that children will sometimes need to be absent due to illness or other important reasons. However, whenever possible, attending school every day helps students stay connected to their learning, their teachers, and their peers. Together, families and schools can support positive attendance habits that help children thrive both academically and socially.

Thank you for partnering with us to ensure every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed…because every day counts!
