VCE - Vocational Major

VCE VM Year 12’s recently got the opportunity to attend Rush Escape rooms in South Yarra.

After splitting into small groups, and sorting out what rooms we would tackle, Rush staff took us through the rules and offered a few tips. Once in the rooms, that was the time to put in to practise our use of social skills, critical thinking skills, teamwork and problem solving. Putting these skills into practise helps students to learn how to be a part of a team and work together to each other’s strengths. This event is a highlight for the VM Yr 12s, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I personally got to do the Monsters Inc. room and loved every part of it. I was able to work within my team using my skills while also leaning on the strengths of my teammates. I’m sure this event will remain a popular excursion for years to come.
