Year 10 

Year 10 students have had a busy and rewarding Term 2, with many opportunities to challenge themselves both inside and outside the classroom.

A huge congratulations and shout-out to our Intermediate Girls Football team members who have successfully progressed to the next round of competition. Well done to Nevaeh Andrews, Zoe Bonifacio, Tiarne Foelmli, Mabel Le Guier, Matilda Lees, Alicia Nellen, Aaliyah Rapinett, Zarni Scott, and Indiah Turnbull. We are incredibly proud of your efforts and wish you the very best in the upcoming rounds.

This term, our Year 10 students completed their first official examination period. This important milestone provided valuable insight into exam procedures, expectations, and structures as part of their senior school pathway. We hope all students are proud of their efforts and achievements throughout the exam period.

Our Year 10 Geography elective students also enjoyed an exciting excursion into the Melbourne CBD, where they explored the Geography of Melbourne firsthand. 

This hands-on learning opportunity allowed students to further develop their geographical understanding, concepts, and skills while investigating the urban environment in a real-world setting.

As communicated through Compass by Jorgia Foster, the timeframe for subject changes has now closed. As a result, there will be no further opportunities for students to alter their subject selections.

Families are encouraged to keep an eye out for information regarding the upcoming Year 10 Camp. Following Thursday's Parent Information Evening, camp deposits will soon become available for payment, along with further details about the event. The camp will take place in Week 10 of Term 4, following the completion of the students' Year 11 Step-Up Program.

As we approach the term break, we would like to wish all Year 10 students and their families a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable holiday. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for Term 3.

Please remember to book your Course Counselling appointment when they become available, as these sessions are an important part of planning subject selections for next year.
