Year 12 2026 – Post secondary pathway application support – Term 3
Year 12 students will commence the application process for 2027 at the beginning of Term 3. This includes support applying to university, TAFE, apprenticeships/traineeships, Police Force, Defence Force and employment. Students will have the opportunity to have one on one appointments and/or small group sessions to investigate courses/training and apply.

Year 11 2026
Year 11 students are encouraged to arrange a one-on-one meeting with Karen Crawley in Term 4 to begin researching pathways for 2027/2028 and beyond.
Years 10 to 7 2026 – Careers sessions
Year 8 students will participate in Careers sessions early Term 3.
Year 7, 9 and 10 students who have not been present at the careers year level sessions or have not fully completed their Career Action Plan will be followed up by the Careers staff during term 3 for a one on one session or in a small group to complete the activity.
Year 10 Work Experience Program – Term 3
All year 10 students will be undertaking a compulsory block of work experience during the last week of term 3 (Monday 14/9 to Friday 18/9). This excludes Tuesday 15/9 and the selected times for student learning conferences. All students have received the necessary paperwork, which includes a Year 10 Work Experience Student Information Pack, detailing the program requirements. All completed paperwork is due by Friday 14/8.
Year 10 students will receive information during Term 3 about the guidelines and expectations for students during their work experience placement to contribute to a successful placement.
Year 9 Morrisby Profiling
Group Unpacking of personalized findings.
Year 9 students will have now received their Morrisby Report by email detailing their personalised findings to assist with subject selection prior to course counselling.
During Term 4, students will have the opportunity to participate in one-on-one interviews to unpack their results in further detail. If your child has not completed their Morrisby Profile, the school has contacted each parent/carer and student with information about how this can be completed.

If you are a year 10, 11 or 12 student in 2027, this might be something you might like to consider. If you are a VCE VM student in year 11 or 12 for 2027, VET is a compulsory subject requirement for your program.
