Principal's Report
Dear Parents/Guardians and friends of Nazareth
This week we gathered as a Community to celebrate Nazareth Day. This is a day that we celebrate what we stand for and what we are known as. As Nazarenes, we strive to encapsulate the characteristic of Jesus and the other members of the family of Nazareth.
Jesus demonstrated how to serve others less fortunate than oneself and provide and nourish the poor and those in need. To support each other, accept differences and diversity, and give thanks for all we have.
At Nazareth, our faith is central to our identity, and it is hoped that we can reciprocate the words through our actions.
An excellent example of this is the Vinnies Sleepout, another fundraising activity whereby our students are putting themselves out to experience what it may be like not to have the comforts of home and a warm place to sleep.
Today we have celebrated our talents, shared food and come together around activities. All staff and students have actively worked together to ensure Nazareth Day will be a huge success and a memorable day.
Congratulations to the following students who received one of our prestigious Faith, Wisdom or Knowledge Awards today:

I, together with several Catholic Education Principals, will be doing a pilgrimage of the Holy Land visiting Tel Aviv, Nazareth, Sea of Galilee, Jordan, Petra, Aman, Jericho, Bethlehem and Jerusalem. Following this, I will take a further (3) three weeks of Long Service Leave to tour Europe and return to the College on Monday 23 October 2023.
In my absence, both Ms Claire Nailon, Deputy Principal Teaching and Learning, and Mr Justin Duckett, Deputy Principal Staff and Students, will be Acting Co Principals with Ms Jackie Kol, Director of Wellbeing, becoming Acting Deputy Principal.
I thank each of them for accepting their role and overseeing the day to day running of the College.
Keep safe, and God bless
