Leadership Induction Assembly
Congratulations to our new music and Audio Visual captains Samuel Gander, William Louis and Nathan Hilder. Thank you to the musicians who performed at the leadership induction assembly last week: The Chamber ensemble who provided entry and exist music, Orlando Aguirre (Year 11) who performed his own composition, and the Senior Rock Band featuring Emily Monks, William Louis, Samuel Gander, Orlando Aguirre and Jonathan McHugh who also performed their original composition entitled No Name.

Congratulations to Maeve Magner (Year 12) and Iluka Horn (Year 9) who have been accepted into the Queensland Conservatorium Australian Honours Program. Maeve and Iluka will perform as members of the Alfred Hill String orchestra in Concert Four on Sunday, 1st October.

HSC Music Performance Examinations
The HSC Performance exams are scheduled as follows:
- Music 1 - 9:00 am on Monday, 11th September
- Music 2 and Music Extension - 11:00am on Monday, 11th September
- Music 1 (Distance Education) - 2.00pm on Tuesday, 12th September
We wish all students well in their final preparation for these exams.
