On Tuesday the 5/6 students ventured to the Springvale Library. They were lucky enough to listen to a presentation by Author/ Illustrator Nancy Liu.
Nancy has released a bilingual picture story book ‘Mr Otter’s Adventure’ this year. She is a watercolour painter based in Melbourne. The students followed step-by-step instructions to create their own otter character.
Following this experience, the students got the opportunity to tour all the services and spaces that the Springvale Library has to offer. It was a great day out and many students are excited at the opportunity to visit the library with friends and family in the future.
Families are invited to the special celebration assembly on Friday 25th August at 2:30pm.
