Indigenous Literacy Day - St James Great Book Swap
It's time to start clearing out bookshelves! St James will host a 'Great Book Swap' on Indigenous Literacy Day - Wednesday 6th September. Our students are invited to bring their books in from Monday 4th September in preparation for our Wednesday.
For our new families, we are asking students to donate a book to our Great Book Swap. Students then visit our library where, for a gold coin donation, they can select a pre-loved book to take home. The gold coin donation goes directly to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation that assists remote communities with the purchase of resources to promote a love of reading and learning.
