FATHER'S DAY THANKS

STALL!

A very big thanks go to our Father's Day Stall Coordinators, Lisa Noden and Penny Stewart who sourced and prepared some great gifts for the children to purchase for their dads this morning. They did a great job of making sure all the children had a good selection to choose from. Thanks also to Aimee Varga, Rachelle Mosca, Tash Den Elzen and Mel Baptista who assisted this morning.

BREAKFAST!

What a great morning it was for our kids with their dads/granddads this morning as over 430 people gathered in the community centre for the Father’s Day Breakfast. As the first sessions group arrived, the rain cleared, and it became a nice morning with lots of breakfast treats to be shared. Thanks to the many volunteers who signed up to help, the morning ran very, very smoothly and we hope the kids and dads enjoyed their special morning.

HUGE thanks must go to our Grade 1 P&F Event Team of Kylie McMahon, Sonnya Tirtawidjaja and Fina Triany who have worked hard over this past 6 weeks planning for this BIG event, especially this last week! Well done ladies and thank you so much for being so lovely to work with!

SCHOOL DISCO! – NEXT Thursday 14th September

By now you all would have seen the details for the School Disco coming up NEXT THURSDAY!!

With all that has been going on you may not have thought to buy your disco tickets but our fabulous Grade 3 P&F Event team of Amy Dougherty, Penny Conduit, Amy Dipierdomenico and Nadia Harris do need you to book by next Thursday 7th September so they can finalise plans for this. Booking by the due date makes it much easier for volunteer coordinators who are already fitting things around their own busy schedules.

The very popular DJ Sam is back for a super fun night for the Prep to 2's from 5-6pm and the 3-6's from 6.30-8pm. All here at St James Community centre. $10 includes entry, an icy pole and a sausage at the end.

BOOK YOUR TICKETS HERE:

HELP NEEDED! - This event requires the most amount of volunteers of any P&F event so we do need your help! We have already had quite a lot of volunteers sign up but do need a lot more. Many of the roles are for a short time on the sign up/sign out desk. Please sign up here if you can help: volunteersignup.org/WL3L7

PIES FOOD DAY for Footy Day - FRIDAY 15th SEPTEMBER

Flyers went home yesterday for our next food day which will be on Footy Day on the final day of term, Friday 15th September. Crumbles Bakery in Heathmont will be busy that day making 100's of party sized party pies, sausage rolls and mini quiches for our little footy fans and the day before making loads of Happy Face Biscuits. Please note that the party pies etc are a decent size, being from a bakery and are quite a bit bigger than the ones you get from the supermarket. Please go to your CDF Pay app and order before end of the day Thursday 7th September.

I will need 9 helpers for this morning. 4 to help from 9-11 with pre-packing snacks and drinks and 5 more to help us from 10.15-11 with sorting the pies into orders quickly so they do not go cold. I know it is close to the disco to ask for more volunteers, but both these events are very suited to being in the final week of the term and the kids really love them.

If you can help, please sign up here: volunteersignup.org/9HJKK

Thanks for your support,

Kylie
