A message from our Principal

Dear St. Brendan's School Community,

Last week students enjoyed Book Week activities throughout the week and reading by the teachers in the Library each morning.

On Friday, all classes had a Gallery walk to celebrate their work in being Authors by writing their own books or newspaper articles.

We had lots of families and grandparents come through the rooms.  Children were very proud to read their books to their families.

Children from other classes visited the other classrooms during the day.

Thanks for the lovely feedback from many parents that they enjoyed the Gallery walk and were impressed by the work that children produced.

Thanks to the students for all their work, the leaders for their organisation and all families and friends who attended.

Athletics Carnival

Tomorrow we have one of the student's favourite events of the year in our Annual Athletics Carnival.

All are welcome to attend, as we begin with an Opening Ceremony at 9am in the Courtyard.  Ethan Baxter being our guest speaker.  Juniors will then begin with all their events.

All students will wear a T-Shirt of the colour of their House Team and black shorts and runners.  Middle and Seniors will begin their sports after lunch.

The Relays will commence after recess at 2.20pm.  A Coffee Van will be available in the morning near the sandpit.

We look forward to seeing many spectators on the day.

Thank You to Frankie and Co

Special thanks to the Frankie and Co Pop Up Store that recently came to Shepparton.

The Store had contacted us to say that our School was chosen to receive 20% of the profits.  They gave our School $800.

We are very grateful to Madeline Langley and the Frankie and Co team at Bendigo for this generous donation.

Pie Drive

Thanks to Parents and Friends for the Pie Drive held last week.  There were lots of orders and this was very well supported.

Father's Day orders have also been given out yesterday.  Thanks to Parents and Friends for their organisation.

Congratulations

Our School Community was extremely proud and pleased for Sam Beks.  Sam is a player with the Gators and they won the Grandfinal.  There was much excitement in the Beks/Lindon Room.

A fantastic effort Sam!

Good luck to all players for the upcoming finals.

Father's Day

We wish all Father's a lovely day on Sunday for Father's Day.  We hope you all enjoy a very special day with your families.

one of the most valuable assets in our society"
