Dear Parents and Guardians, 

The Sustainability team at Epping Views Primary School is very excited to work with the school community to reduce our environmental impact. This term’s focus is reducing our waste. We are asking families to Wipe out Waste and reduce the amount of packaging in each child’s lunchbox. 

From today, students WILL NOT be allowed into the yard during recess and lunch with any plastic packaging and will be asked to make their food nude before going into the yard. Any students purchasing food from the canteen will also be asked to eat the canteen food in the leaf area and dispose of the rubbish in the correct bin available there. 

When you are packing your child’s lunch box, please consider sustainable methods of packaging to help reduce our environmental impact. Please see the flyer below for more information on how you can make a difference. 

Reusable Lunch Order Bags are also available for $12.50. They are available in a range of colours and are pictured below. Please contact the office if you would like to purchase one.
