EVPS Community Hub

Hello to the EVPS community,

What a productive week we have had!

Welcome to the new members of the group, it's lovely to have you on board and share your ideas and experiences and have you involved in our school community.

Last week was our first CCC (Cake Coffee and Conversation) morning where we had many different discussions and worked out our timetables for the Parent Helper program. We will be hosting another CCC morning on Wednesday 30th August. Please register your interest to come along and be part of our growing EVPS community.

We also had our first Thursday morning Walking Group last week where we headed to

Casa d’Abruzzo on O’Herns Rd, had a coffee and then walked back. What a pleasant morning for a walk with great company and conversation.

Please register your interest (so we do not leave without you) for the next Walking Group Thursday 31st August 2023 @ 9.15am (meet at the office) where we will be heading to PDV Café (weather permitting).

Toddler Storytime is a great way to engage toddlers in preparation for learning whether they are interested in books by looking at the pictures, listening to the reader, turning pages or simply holding them in their hands; it all plays an important role in a toddler’s journey.

Our next session will be held on the Wednesday 6th Sept 2023. Please register your interest.

As you are all aware, EVPS will be hosting the EVPS School FETE on Thursday 7th December.

We would like to invite families who have a business, large or small, to come and hold a stall at the Fete.

There will be a very small cost involved but the benefits for your business will be impressive.

Some benefits for you are

  • Advertising your business
  • Presenting your products and services
  • Getting to know the community

Please feel free to register on the Community Hub page where we will be in touch to give you more information.

Hope everyone is well and I look forward to meeting and speaking to more families in the coming weeks.

Please register your interest for the any of the activities listed above via our website.

Until our next edition, stay safe!

Community Hub Leader
