Parent Reps required for 4B and 5B
A class or Year Group Rep (rep) plays an important role in fostering a spirit of community support amongst ASC parents. The role is a wonderful way to be involved in All Saints’ College life and create relationships with your year groups. Reps assist with:
- Organising social events for parents in their year group;
- Organising family events in their year group;
- Assist in sharing important P&F information, key dates, events etc in your Year Group WhatsApp chats;
- Assist in communications between teaching staff and your class / year group e.g. reminders about class and year group schedules / activities (mainly for Junior School)
- Welcoming new families to the school and help them connect with the year group’s communication channels and answering any questions to help them settle into the school.
There are currently no Parent Reps for the following classes:
- Year 4B Charlie Stapleton
- Year 5B Caitlin Moore
If you are a parent in any of these years and would like to assist by being a Parent Rep, please contact Allison Pooley from the P&F via email allipooley@gmail.com
Years 4 - 6 Interhouse Swimming Carnival
Last Tuesday, our Junior School came together for a thrilling Interhouse Swimming Carnival filled with excitement, energy and outstanding school spirit. This year marked an exciting milestone, as we hosted the carnival off campus for the first time at Riverton Leisureplex's 50m pool. The venue was a fantastic addition, providing a wonderful atmosphere for both competitors and spectators and allowing our swimmers to perform at their best in a high-quality facility. The day was a terrific display of friendly competition, teamwork and sportsmanship, with students from all Houses giving their very best efforts in the pool.
We are delighted to announce that O’Connor House has won the House Champion Trophy making it two years in a row! Congratulations to all O’Connor students for their incredible performances, determination and teamwork which led them to this well‑deserved title. A huge congratulations also goes to Cowan House, who were awarded the Spirit Trophy. This award recognises the House that demonstrated the most enthusiasm, encouragement and passion throughout the day, including during the afternoon Team Games. Cowan students truly embodied these qualities with their positive support, high energy and outstanding sportsmanship from start to finish.
One of the highlights of moving to Riverton Leisureplex was the opportunity to extend the day beyond racing. In the afternoon, students took part in a brand‑new team games program focused on water‑safety skills and fun, reinforcing confidence and safe behaviours around aquatic environments while keeping the carnival atmosphere buzzing through to the finish. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all the parents who attended and cheered on the competitors. Your support and encouragement created an uplifting atmosphere for our students.
A special thank you also goes to our dedicated staff, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the day ran smoothly and safely. Congratulations to all competitors for their fantastic efforts, and congratulations again to O’Connor House and Cowan House for their outstanding achievements. We now look forward to our Interhouse Cross Country event in Term 2.
We also look forward to competing at the IPSHA Co‑Education Swimming Carnival at Newman College on Tuesday 31 March.

Kindergarten and Pre‑Primary Celebrate Holi – The Festival of Colours
Our Kindy and Pre‑Primary children had a fantastic time celebrating Holi, the vibrant Hindu Festival of Colours, on Friday. Holi is a joyful celebration that marks the beginning of spring and symbolises the victory of good over evil.
To bring this cultural celebration to life, students explored the meaning behind Holi before taking part in a fun and colourful experience. The children threw bright coloured powder and water — always making sure to ask permission first — and loved watching the colours appear on their clothes and skin. One of the highlights for the Pre‑Primary children was making sure their teachers were suitably covered in colour too!
This hands‑on experience helped our young learners understand cultural diversity and appreciate the many different ways people around the world celebrate important occasions. It was a wonderful opportunity to share a meaningful cultural tradition together as a community.
A warm thank you to Kanik’s family for generously donating the coloured powder and supporting this memorable celebration.
Our Year 5s take Year 2s on a Tech Trek
Our Year 2 students enjoyed an exciting Tech Trek this week, guided by our very capable Year 5 mentors. The Year 5s stepped into a teacher role, showing the younger students how to get creative on their iPads, design simple projects, and care for their devices responsibly.
The session was a fantastic mix of learning and leadership. Year 2s loved having experts by their side, while Year 5s gained confidence and communication skills as they taught.
A great example of cross‑year collaboration in action!
