Appropriate Footwear at School

Just a reminder that appropriate footwear is required to be worn for school, but most especially for PE and Sport.

Inappropriate shoes such as crocs, slides, gumboots, workbooks, dress shoes, etc. can cause slips, trips, and falls. It can also make it difficult or impossible to run around, kick a ball, and participate in other physical activities.

At ACS our policy on Smartphones and Smartwatches is that they are to be off and away for the day.  This is a Department of Education Policy that was brought in back in 2023.

Please take the time to go through this with your child/ren and remind them that they signed an agreement at the beginning of the year to comply with this policy and should not be using mobile devices at school except for educational purposes.
