Stage

Late last year, Lexi Z auditioned, along with 160 other kids for a role in CLOC Musical Theatre’s production of Billy Elliot. After a long audition process that involved group acting and singing, then solo dance auditions Lexi was successful in gaining the role of a Ballet Girl, alongside 8 others.

Part of a multi-talented adult and children’s cast, Lexi has been rehearsing in Moorabbin three times a week since February and is thrilled to finally land on the stage and perform to almost sold out audiences at the National Theatre in St Kilda. She performed in 12 shows between Wednesday 8 May and Saturday 25 May.

This has been an amazing opportunity for Lexi which has provided her with an insight into professional performances. She has thoroughly enjoyed the experience and hopes this is the beginning of many more to come.

Baseball

Hunter C and his team played in a friendly tournament over Easter weekend against some teams from Japan.

In July the team will head to Japan to play in an Under 12’s World Cup with 8 countries competing. They will live with Japanese families for 2 weeks while they are away.

Brilliant effort Hunter.
