Welcome back
Welcome back to everyone. Hopefully, the holidays allowed you to rest and stay warm! Our students have returned to school full of enthusiasm after the break and have hit the ground running. It is important that we re-establish routines and expectations early and allow every opportunity for students to flourish.
There’s plenty to look forward to throughout the term including; the CES Arts on Show, Our School Art Show, Learning Conversations, Book Week and the Foundation’s 100 days of School Celebrations...to name a few.
Term Three is also a significant part of our enrolment process for 2024, as we hold our Foundation Enrolment Interviews. These meetings are opportunities for new and existing families to begin the transition to the school process and for us to learn a little bit about the children before they start school.
NAPLAN
Earlier this year, Years 3 and 5 took part in NAPLAN testing. Results from this assessment will be sent home next week.
Learning Conversations are scheduled for Week 3. Please take the opportunity to book through PAM as these conversations are a major part of the assessment and reporting process.
School Hours
A reminder to families that children are supervised by teachers at St Joseph's from 8:30am until 3:30pm each day. Teachers are rostered for yard duty before school, at recess and lunchtime, and after school. Children should not be arriving at school prior to 8:30am.
If children have not been picked up by 3:45pm in the afternoon, they will be waiting in the Administration Area.
