After ten years of dedicated service as our Parish Priest, Fr. John Healy will be moving on to the Parishes of Woodend and Lancefield/Romsey on July 10th. Fr. John has built great relationships with our students, staff, and families, and he will be greatly missed by the entire school community. To show our appreciation, we'll be holding a farewell prayer service in the Church on Tuesday, June 25th, at 10:30 am. Families are invited to attend.

We'd also like to express our gratitude to Fr. Samuel, our Assistant Priest for the past year. He will be taking on the role of Administrator Priest for the Parish of Newport. We appreciate his support and contributions to our school community.

Looking ahead, we're excited to welcome Fr. Binh Le as our new Parish Priest and Fr. Trac Nguyen as our new Assistant Priest. Both priests bring a wealth of experience and we believe they'll be wonderful additions to our school community. We look forward to getting to know them next term.

Confirmation 

Next Wednesday the 19th of June Jonathan, Kara, Alexandra, Marcus, Finlay, Lucas and Lyndelle will be making their Sacrament of Confirmation at the Queen of Peace Church.

Confirmation is the fourth Sacrament in the Catholic Church. During this Sacrament, the candidates who are confirmed receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit through the laying of the hand and anointing with oils by the Bishop. This Sacrament is the third and final Sacrament of Initiation into the Catholic Church. 

We pray for all of our Confirmation candidates.
