District Soccer

On the 24th of May the year 5/6s went to Dixon Field to compete in District soccer. The girls had 5 games in total and the boys had 4.

In the boys matches they played Braemar, Holy Cross and St Bridgets. Unfortunately we lost them all 1-0 2-1 and 2-0 respectively. But  we tried our best and had a lot of fun. In the boys last match we played Mt Macedon and drew 1-1. Thanks you to Ms Pitt for coaching the boys soccer team.

The girls first game was against Holy Cross, the scores were 2-0. Macedon had won.

The second game for the Macedon girls team was New Gisborne, Macedon had won again with the scores of 1-0. The third game of the day  for the girls team was against Mt Macedon and we won 3-0.

The fourth game was against Willowbank Primary and we won 2-0. Since we had won all our games Macedon Primary competed in a grand finale against Gisborne.  The grand finale, against Gisborne was tough. Macedon Primary did so well but unfortunately we lost by 1. The final score was 1-0. Everyone did amazing throughout the day. Everyone was fair, as a winner and we celebrated our loss too. Thank you to Mr B For helping on the day and for coaching the girls team.
