Parents & Friends

The P&F at Milgate Primary school is dedicated to fostering a positive and friendly community that extends beyond the classroom, enriching the lives of both our students and their families. We believe that fundraising serves as a powerful means to achieve this goal.

Throughout 2023, we have experienced significant success in our endeavours. These events serve as valuable opportunities to raise funds that support the initiatives and projects undertaken by the school.

Our events this year included:

• Easter Raffle and Fancy Hat Parade
• Mother’s Day Stall 
• Mother’s Day breakfast and activities
• Father’s Day stall
• Father’s Day breakfast
• Second Hand Book stall
• Referendum Sausage and Cake stall
• Freaky Friday Disco 

These have all made meaningful contributions to the P&F funds, enabling us to continue supporting various educational and community-building initiatives.

Another noteworthy contributor to our fundraising efforts is the Second Hand Uniform stall, where all proceeds from the sale of donated items directly benefit the school. This year, the funds generated from P&F organized events have been allocated to several impactful projects, enhancing the overall school environment such as:

• Aluminium picnic table adjacent to the Year 6 playground
• Gaga pit (installation planned for 2024)
• Year 3 and 4 sand play toys and equipment

Surplus funds will be directed towards the planned upgrade of the Rainbow Equipment in the Year 1 and Year 2 areas.
