Principal's Message

Welcome to our last newsletter for 2023.

Wow!! What a great P&C meeting we had on Tuesday night. The P&C have donated $20,000 to the school from funds raised at the 2023 Country Fair which was held in February. This donation is in addition to the $10,000 provided for the new school signage. The P&C's contribution is greatly appreciated by the school, and we are excited to let the community know what we will be buying in 2024. The P&C are also purchasing a defibrillator which will be installed in the new year and sunscreen for each classroom. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for supporting our wonderful school. 

Presentation Day - Just a reminder that the morning bell on Monday will ring a little earlier than normal at 9:15am. This is to allow for teachers to mark class rolls before students get on buses to head to Bathurst High. Students are to wear school uniform. All students need to return to Eglinton PS on buses. We would prefer that students do not leave Bathurst High with parents. If for any reason you need to pick your child up following Presentation, please pick them up from the school so they are signed out. 

In finishing I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a relaxing holiday. We look forward to seeing you all in 2024.
