Grade 3/4 Girls Futsal team

The girls competed in the Football Victoria Champion of Champions event on the 10th of November against the best teams in the State. The girls went undefeated in the group stage, winning 6 and drawing 1. The team fought hard in the state final but unfortunately lost 2-1. Well done to everyone involved!

FUTSAL

The whistle blew! With Our hearts racing heavily, the ball came to me. I (Layla) started to run with it, but when the ball was taken away, I knew I’d messed up badly. Thankfully our goalie - Charlotte, saved the ball from going in.

Charlotte then passed it  to me. I ran as fast as I could and kicked it hard! I couldn’t believe my eyes…..IT WENT IN! My teammates celebrated, cheering loudly.

Then  another teammate got a goal and we won the grand final! Our team was so proud of each other. We’d made it to STATE!

Grade 5/6 All Star and Future Star Teams

Finally, our Grade 5/6 All Star and Future Star teams played in their regional competitions over the past 2 weeks. Both teams played well, putting in strong performances against the other teams. The Future Stars team finished top of their group and won their qualifying final. Unfortunately though, our All Star Girls lost their final. Congratulations to both teams on such a fantastic campaign! Wishing the Junior All Stars and Senior Future Stars the best of luck for their state finals in a couple of weeks’ time!
